Starting the year with something different, Cambell and myself will be heading to Maleny on the Sunshine Coast. Sleeping in tents, vans or cars at the Maleny Showgrounds and if we are permitted embarking on a relaxing weekend around the campfire. For those excellent souls flying in - there is some accomodation available in Maleny and then further afield in surrounding townships. Brisbane is 1h 20 by car and all are welcome to spend the weekend with us Friday to Sunday or come for the main event on Saturday only.

So, what are we doing exactly? Well first up we are camping. Secondly we are hosting either a campfire conversation or a film on the friday night - either under the stars or at the Maleny Showgrounds Pavillion. It will be the chilled experience we have all been craving where we can just put our feet up, have a drink and just hang out. 

Saturday will be held at the Maleny Showgrounds 13 Maleny Stanley River Rd, Maleny QLD 4552. Its a Weird World Update from us and the usual video/music presentation and deep dive into the local area through the Tartarian lense. Together we will cast our eyes over the whole realm and bring together a broad view of whats happening across the continients, cultures and conspiracies. Our aim is to leave the weekend feeling grounded but in nervous awe about where we stand and what potentially maybe coming towards us in 2024-2025. 

Its certainly going to be a weekend that will leave you chewing for a while. Good time to meet some community members and exchange thoughts and feelings with them.  We also invite you to share your handmade, homemade anything with everyone and set up your little stall or blanket at the showgrounds or on the day at the Hall. Our community is great and always love supporting each other in our artisan ways. 

Sat event will be from 9am-4pm with plenty of time for Q&A over the weekend. On sat night we can head to the local Maleny pub and have some dinner together - gawd you are going to be sick of the sight of us by sunday LOL. 

Sunday its a case of heading home with heads high and hearts full. Sounds fun huh :)

Food is yours to bring and share - there are cooking facilities at the showground with the usual aussie appliances (BBQ) and (COCKATOOS) and lots of stars.

Camping at the showgrounds is $30 per night: Includes electricity, water, toilet facilities, access to Dump Point. Coin operated Showers available. 

This gets paid by you on the day at the Showgrounds: Registration/Arrival: Register at the Camping Office on arrival by completing the Registration Form, and placing with the Caretaker or in the after hours box.

This will be a fun, cheap and fulfilling weekend with the Tartarian Fam.

WEATHER: If it is raining all weekend we either have to forge ahead or we reschedule. We will send out an alert the week of the event.

BYO drinks and we will see if we cant organise some beautiful local cooks to bring in dinner. xxx
